Travel and its Effects


In my opinion, traveling every so often is an excellent way to reset your hunger schedule. If you eat at the same time every day, eventually your body will learn to anticipate your meals with hunger. However, traveling to a different time zone will throw off that schedule and you won't be hungry at mealtimes, making it far easier to eat less than usual or even fast. Traveling has the added benefit of messing up your hunger schedule again when you go back home, so that you are less hungry even when your vacation is over! During a trip is an excellent time to start a new, more difficult diet or fast. Happy trails!
