Hunger Pains

Yes, they hurt, they suck, they're embarrassing in public, but the less food you feed your moaning stomach, the less it will need to be full. Hunger pains are the sound of your stomach shrinking. You want it to shrink as much as possible. It's used to being stretched out and full of food and fat and calories.

Learn to love the sound and the feeling of your stomach growling. Learn to love how flat it feels without food in it. It's a reminder that you're currently losing weight. Feeling full is an awful feeling because it's stretching out your stomach, causing it to demand more food to satisfy you. Your stomach does not control you; you control it. Every time you eat til you're full, your stomach expands and it takes more food next time to fill it up which makes it much much harder to restrict. Shrinking your stomach will give you a major advantage on your diet and it will become way easier to restrict.

As you get used to this, you will find that you crave less food. Since your body is getting smaller, it requires less food to operate. And as a plus, not feeding your stomach gives the rest of your digestive system a chance to do it's job while your stomach takes a rest from digesting food.

Sleep

This is just a friendly reminder that sleep is your best friend. Not only is it a 100% calorie-free way to get energy, but also it refreshes your appearance (dark circles? UGH). Plus, this extra energy ramps up your self-control, which only makes it easier to stay on Ana's good side :).

Another good reason to sleep: to burn fat, your body has to go through "gluconeogenesis," a fancy term saying the body has burned up its stored muscle sugar and now must look for something else to burn for energy. However, during gluconeogenesis, your body has a choice of burning antibodies, muscle, or fat. Getting enough rest keeps your immune system (including your antibodies) stronger so you are less likely to get sick- and more likely to burn that fat off instead.

So, lovelies, stay healthy, stay fit, stay in control- AND GET YOUR FUCKING SLEEP!!

4 100-calorie meals is better than 1 400-calorie meal ;)

The 4 D's

  1. Distance yourself from food.
  2. Distract yourself.
  3. Delay eating.
  4. Decide what your goals really are.

Excel Food Log

I've made a super-simple food log on excel to help track consumption. It literally uses the simplest equations and functions on excel- just enter the dates you want to use in the date bar to keep track, record your calories eaten at each "meal-opportunity," and it will give you your total for the day and average for the week. There's a little bonus: if your average daily consumption is below 600 calories, the little star in the average box stays gold; if it does not,  the star goes gray. Also, you can add motivation to the last column or whatever.

Here's the link to the document: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3pcG2rj_MmEQ2RQRmdfSHROZWs/edit?usp=sharing

PLEASE simply copy and paste into your own drive- you will not be able to edit the template in mine :)

I'm Baaaaack

Heyo lovelies! I found this hi-fucking-larious website: betcheslovethis.com

It's so funny how wanna they are, but even so, anything supporting the pursuit of the super-slim is gorgeous to see.

Their #5 Diet entry on the Betch List is a nice addition ;)
